The INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute (IBOSI) is the academic hub of the blue ocean strategy global community.  Based in Fontainebleau, France, IBOSI was established 2007 by INSEAD as a result of the strong interest around the world in the concepts, tools and analytical frameworks of blue ocean strategy.  Today it is staffed with Institute Fellows from the best schools across the globe.  The Institute’s mission is to bridge the gap between theory and practice and make a major theoretical and scientific contribution to the fields of strategy and management through ongoing academic and managerial research on blue ocean strategy.

The UCSI Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Center (UCSI-BOSRC) was established under the full ownership and governance of UCSI University. It is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  It is the regional learning and business center of blue ocean strategy for Malaysia, Australia, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.  USCI-BOSRC conducts research, training, workshops and consulting on blue ocean strategy across its ten territories, where it has local offices.

The Manufacturer & Business Association Blue Ocean Strategy Center(MBA-BOSC), USA, was established to bring blue ocean strategy concepts, tools and frameworks to member and non-member organizations in the US. The Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA) was founded 104 years ago in Erie, Pennsylvania.  It is surrounded by the major industrial cities of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Cleveland, Ohio, and Buffalo, New York.   Today MBA has 4,000 member organizations, representing a key pillar of American industry.

The Kimberly Clark Blue Ocean Strategy Institute of Sao Paulo - Brazil(KC-BOSI) was established by KC’s Latin American Organization in Sao Paolo, Brazil.  With Kimberly Clark among the top recognized and admired consumer goods company in Latin America, KC-BOSI’s aim is to share blue ocean strategy logic, tools and frameworks throughout its Latin American regional organization to inspire the launch of new blue ocean businesses and the regeneration of existing businesses.
